Adventure mountain Park Les Pallissades – Parc d’Aventure en montagne Les Palissades is a world-class mountaineering and adventure park, located 12 kilometres from Saint-Simeon village on highway 170, on the road to Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region.

The park invites outdoor and mountain enthusiasts to discover an exciting array of new activities, including Via Ferrata courses, a suspension bridge, fifteen kilometres of hiking trails with aerial lookouts and more.

The two Via Ferrata courses consist of guided cliff-walks with safety cables.

Rock climbing buffs will be excited by the 150 routes +, vertical of up to 400 meters and for all calibres of climbers (up to 5.13). Guests also cross the lake on a zip line that’s over 250 meters long.

A highly diversified forest, a glacier lake and an impressive talus at the base of 4-km-long granite rock face that offers views of the lovely and winding Noire River, as well as the St. Lawrence.

Note that no climbing experience is necessary. All-inclusive two and five-day adventure packages are available.

Besides, since the opening of Roc Gyms in 1993, the climbing Ascensation school offers a complete indoor climbing program in a huge climbing room containing more than 75 climbing lines, which are modified regularly. Activities and formations are supervised by a team of passionate and qualified individual.

The Ascensation school has initiated more than 500 000 people to the climbing experience through the years.
