Lac-Ste-Marie is a small rural municipality, with a population of 650, located in the Vallee-de-la-Gatineau (Gatineau-River-Valley), in the heart of the Outaouais region, only a few dozens of miles away from Ottawa. Lac-Ste-Marie is well known by its majestic mountain with ski slopes.
Indeed, Lac-Ste-Marie, founded in 1872, is a paradise for winter sports, but also for golfers who come here to enjoy the 18-holes golf camp, hikers, horse-riders and water-sport amateurs.

A municipal camping is located near the lake Ste-Marie with a boat launch installations and canoe and boat rental. A few restaurants (Resto 101), bars and the McVey Pub invite the guests.
