Dreams of the Fall - Rêves d'automne is standard bearer of Charlevoix'a artistic tradition.

It’s a Festival of Landscapes in Painting, a nice tradition which brings together many artists who come here to reveal their talents. Right in the heart of Baie-Saint-Paul, Rêves d'automne Place is the scene of numerous exhibitions and also hosts the National Painting Contest held every year as part of the Festival.

Information pertaining to your stay will be provided on site. The festival is also improvement sessions, and the unique opportunity of meeting talented artists from here and elsewhere. Indeed, for centuries, Charlevoix has been inspiring artists, both by the magnificence of its landscapes and the charm of its inhabitants.

From Kathleen Daly to René Richard, by way of the Group of Seven, numerous are the painters who set their easel down in the region. Baie-Saint-Paul is well-known as an artists' paradise.

Over time, the event has progressively focused on figurative painting of landscapes, which is the true trademark of painters that got their inspiration from Charlevoix over the years.
