Malartic Western Festival

Malartic Western Festival is held in the city of Malartic, Abitibi-Temiscamingue at the end of June of each year.

A Far-West Setting and a Wild West atmosphere reign in the community during this festival. Guests can participate in the celebrations and in the numerous activities.

The picturesque parade, the float contest, wild time professional rodeo, the gymkhana challenge, plough horse pulling, the rallies and other horse-pulling contests are in program.

Children games are also accessible. Many people pout on their cow-boy hat and come with their family to join the Western Festival and to step back in time, at the time of cowboys.
