Chocolates Martine

Renowned for its scrumptious chocolate, Chocolates Martine Company, founded in 1987, is situated in the marina’s unique site on the shores of Temiscamingue Lake, in Ville-Marie.

Company offers Belgian chocolate, and guests can relish in the very unique La Caramelle , La noire, La Choc-O-Lait, La Pralinette and other treats.

They can taste Port wine and liquors served in genuine chocolate cups. A guided tour of the premises allows tourists to learn more about the captivating story of chocolate. Visitors also admire a 4,653 kilos chocolate bar.

This bar was produced in 2003, as part of the Second Edition of the Abitibi-Temiscamingue and Northeastern Ontario Foire gourmande, by Bernard Flebus, Master Chocolatier.

He established a new Guinness Record by producing the world’s largest chocolate bar, made with milk chocolate. After the tour, the owners invite guests to visit the gift boutique.
