The Dion Cheese dairy and Goat farm is located at Montbeillard (Rouyn Noranda city), a true vacation place, on the very edge of the Opasatica Lake, the largest lake in the region, known locally as long lake.

Since its beginning in 1985, the Fromagerie and Chevrerie Dion has been keen in expanding its production for the greatest pleasure of those who relish in caprine by-products. Here visitors may buy tasteful yogurts, milk, several types of cheese, such as feta, fresh cheese, mild or medium cheddar, and other products, as well as soap.

The reputation of Fromagerie Dion for the outstanding quality of its cheese had led the enterprise to merit the Caseus First prize at one of the festival of cheese of Warwick for the cheese Delice of Nature.

The owners of the farm will be delighted to tell guests about their passion for goats and invite tourists to see the herd, tour the installations and taste some of the delicacies they make. Of course, you can buy some cheese on the premises.

A campground and a boat launch are located near by and give access to the lake.
