Centre of Wasps

The interpretative centre of wasp is located in a small village of Laverlochere, Abitibi-Temiscamingue region.

Gerard Gagnon has been collecting wasp nests since 1974, and now the Wasp interpretation Centre exhibits a collects of more than 800 wasp nests.

Each of the nests is unique in its own way, and visitors will discover how wasps build their nest, what materials they use and what is their cycle of life. Guided tours of the interpretative center are offered.

Average visit is of about one hour.
