Without a doubt one of the best kept secret of Quebec, the Mountain Adventure Park of the Palissades, described as the Mountain Mecca of Quebec, is a true natural jewel of America.

Close to Saint-Siméon in Charlevoix Region, this magnificent park of international calibre awaits visitors with a large network of hiking trails which cover more than 15 kilometres and offer exceptional viewpoints.

Les Palissades also includes a 4 kilometres wide and 400 metres high granite rock wall giving the cliff-hangers the chance to enjoy mountainous adventure sports like rock climbing, rappelling, a via ferrata and a Tyrolean traverse.

The via ferrata - a Cliffside trail with cables and security equipment - offers a unique adventure that’s part rock climbing and par mountaineering. Guests also come here to hike, canoe, fish, swim, picnic, snowshoe and much more. Moreover, a number of added facilities allow participants to enjoy a rustic picnic shed, a chalet for lodging, a bar with a terrace, a sauna and a Nordic spa.

Guests can try an overnight wilderness getaway at Le Refuge des grimpeurs, a cabin for 2-16 guests located 2 km from the main pavillion and accessible on skis and snowshoes.
