Charlevoix Domain
This nature wildlife park located just outside Baie-Saint-Paul offers visitors a few magnificent trails for hiking which lead to two spectacular waterfalls: the Surprenante and the Magnifique. Guests are accompanied by classical music on the walk up to the Felix-Antoine-Savard terrace, 390 m. (more than 1000 feet) above sea level, with a look over Isle-aux-Coudres.
Other trails introduce visitors to the flora on the forest floor. Take the Pierre-Harvey trail through dense Canadian forest to the park’s manor house.
Tourists admire breathtaking scenery extending all the way from Petite-Riviere-St-Francois to Les Eboulemments. Two picnic areas are available here: the Savard terrace with its panoramic views and the Rene-Richard terrace, located riverside.
A shuttle conveys you back to the summit.
Charlevoix Domain Park is open from June through October.
