Rene-Richard House

Rene-Richard House (Maison de René Richard) is an excellent Gallery and Museum, located in the heart of Baie-Saint-Paul, a lovely community of Charlevoix Region.

The gallery exhibits and sells original works by painter Rene Richard and many renowned artists from both the past and the present. A veritable artistic hub, the house welcomes visitors, and a tour of artist’s fascinating studio is a captivating getaway to the bygone days. The house is century-old.

Rene Richard lived there for the last 43 years of his life. Other famous artists of Quebec like Marc-Aurele Fortin, Clarence Gagnon and members of the Group of Seven spent their time in the house as well.
