Ecomusee du Fier Monde
This museum invites visitors to discover industrial and working-class Montreal.
Guests travel back in time to the Industrial Revolution era, when Montreal was Canada’s metropolis, its industrial heart and a centre of the industrial revolution in Canada during the second half of the 19th century.
The museum is located in a magnificent building, built in the 1920s, which used to be public bath.
This building bears witness to a bygone age when most dwellings in Montreal had no bath or shower facilities.
