Le Massif

Le Massif is a high peak, located at the western gateway to the Charlevoix region, overlooking St Lawrence River.

This ski resort has the highest vertical in Quebec, and it’s considered the pinnacle of slide sports destinations in Quebec. Nature’s attributes alone tend to the extremes here, with spectacular river scenery, micro-climate that delivers ever-abundant snowfalls and never-ending trails with magnificent panoramic views.

Indeed, coddled in a micro-climate, Le Massif has over 600 cm of fresh snow a year. This distinct environment is shared among winter sports lovers who are not afraid of conquering 770 meters ob vertical drop. The resort is equipped with art-of-state telemark, snowboard, sit-ski clinics.

The summit of Le Massif is the gateway to 45 scenic trails and glades, perched high above the St. Lawrence.

The SnowSchool offers Beginner and Perfect Turn Ski lessons. Well, beyond the pleasures of slide sports, Le Massif prominently features local delicacies, and a rich cultural heritage completes the natural fresco.

A full line-up of outstanding events adds to the already festive mood of après ski of Le Massif. Besides, Le Massif is the only World Biosphere Reserve to offer slide sports fans access to nature’s bounty.
