St. Urban Church of Remigny
Built in between 1941 and 1946 by parishioners of Remigny, following the plans by architect Adrien Dufresne, the St. Urban Church of Remigny is a testament to the perseverance of these colonists.
The church is built of cut stone in the Dom Bello Style, i.e. without any pillars inside, and it houses three consecrated altars; a unique feature in Abitibi-Temiscamingue Region.
Visitors can see a film about the construction of the church and the foundation of the village during their visit of the premises.
