Hudson is a picturesque town, situated in Monteregie Region (Vaudreuil-Soulanges county), 50 kilometers west of Montreal and 150 east of Ottawa. Its population is of about 5300 inhabitants. Many people say that Hudson is one of the top places to live in Canada, and the opinion comes as no surprise once you get to know the town.
Indeed, for those who love the outdoors, Hudson offers walking trails, sailing, cross country skiing, horseback riding and golf course close by. So for those who are experiencing Hudson's Way of Life, they find it difficult to leave. So many families chose the town to settle in.
Hudson has its Youth Centre, a place where kids and teens have the opportunity to socialize with their friends in a safe and supervised environment. Let’s mention Go Green Hudson. This society is a local collective founded with an aim to raise awareness of environmental issues and encourage individuals to move towards healthier life. This group organize community environmental events such as the annual Earth Day Fair and the Green Home Energy Seminar.
