Sainte Eulalie
Sainte-Eulalie is located in the Centre-du-Quebec Region. It has a population of about 900.
With its industrial park booming, Sainte-Eulalie is an important place of business, recognized throughout the region. The community of Ste-Eulalie is also recognized as the hub of the antiques market in Quebec and it has a privileged position due to a large concentration of antique shops.
The parish of Sainte-Eulalie was erected as a municipality in 1857. In fall of 1861, Noe Tourigny from Saint-Grégoire clears the first lot on this land. In fact, most of the first settlers came from Saint-Grégoire and many of them were from Acadian descent. The first church was built in 1872, and it was replaced by the present church in 1906.
Guests would like a visit to the Galerie d’Art chez GER-ART where they will find furniture, paintings, sculptures, works of art and much more. The Atelier Merlaine offers a variety of handmade products with wool sheep. In Jardins de Cristal – Crystal Gardens tourists will find frescoes crystal, a considerable amount of crafts, and they can attend concerts Vessels Crystal Quartz.
The vinery Vignoble Sainte-Eulalie is a very popular site, where techniques picking and wine-making will be presented to visitors. The community is located at the crossroads of Highways 20 and 55, linking Drummondville, Trois-Rivieres and Victoriaville.
