Focusing on innovation and interaction, the Montreal Science Centre’s exhibitions explore the most exciting aspects of science. The mission of the Centre is to help visitors of all ages acquire an understanding of science and technology, thus anyone interested in science and technology and wanting to make it a dynamic and interactive experience, is welcome here.
The Science Centre is an ideal site for families who’d like to stimulate the interest of their kids in science and technology; for young people, is a nice place to stimulate the curiosity, arouse a passion for knowledge, and develop a taste for careers in science.
The Science Centre presents amazing and surprising exhibitions which allow visitors to explore and understand the reality through a variety of interactive means. The Centre highlights and explains recent Canadian innovations and inventions both within the exhibition halls and in its public areas. Note than in an effort to support, and stimulate the teaching of science, the Science Centre, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Quebec, has created education programs for primary and secondary school students. In addition, it has developed a careers-in-science program.
At the IMAX TELUS Theatre of the Centre, guests cans see the best IMAX productions on the giant screen.
